In this session, participants will be shown writing prompts from the past AAPPL tests and will work collaboratively to match student writing samples from the AAPPL test to proficiency benchmarks. This is intended to help teachers better understand the expectations students face on the AAPPL test and to continue aligning classroom instruction to ACTFL proficiency benchmarks. While this session focuses on writing samples, future sessions will offer the same opportunity with student speaking samples.
